Trading Seminar
The price of oil has quadrupled in the last four years and risen 60% in the last 6 months. Investors have fretted and speculators have smiled. However, while there is no doubt that long term supplies of oil are limited, few people can explain how the price has risen so far, so fast.
What is certain is the impact the price of oil is having. Energy, transport and fertiliser costs are soaring, pushing inflation up. Interest rates look set to rise, and may do so at a time when the Global economy seems least able to cope. The question on people's lips is no longer 'are we heading into a recession' but 'how deep will this recession be?'
What has all of this meant for you? A chance for a profit or a nightmare to be coped with? Too tasty a trend to ignore, or a bubble waiting to burst?
Join paddypowertrader at a seminar to discuss the impact - and the opportunities - the elevated price of oil presents.
Questions we look at includes:
- What impact does the price of oil have on stocks and the US dollar?
- How can individuals trade oil, and what are the dos and don'ts?
- Why is the supply of oil limited in the short term?
- What are the realities of exploring for oil in politically unstable regions?
- Are we in an oil bubble - and if so is it about to burst?
The conference will be held at the Raddison SAS St Helen's in Dublin on Saturday 19th of July, and will feature two eminent speakers.
